U.S. JUSTICE DEPARTMENT SETTLES HIV DISCRIMINATION SUIT IN ALABAMA poz.com
The U.S. Department of Justice announced a settlement in a discrimination lawsuit against Wales West RV Resort and Train and Garden Lovers Family Park in Silverhill, Alabama. In its complaint, the department said the recreational vehicle (RV) resort violated the Americans With Disabilities Act when it banned an HIV-positive child, POZ cover boy Caleb Glover, from using the park's swimming pools and showers after learning his status.
